Taking up the architecture of the Best Seller Aqaysos, Pierre GUILLAUME executes a spicy woody crystalline note, revealing under a biting freshness a powdery and enveloping nature… a “shiso flake”. True to the DNA of Pierre GUILLAUME’s White Collection, “Oshiso” is an immediately captivating genderless composition illuminated by a trio of Bergamot, Apple Blossom and Heliotrope Wood. The exotic scent of Shiso leaves enhances the note with a singular spicy freshness. Unexpected and highly desirable.
Shiso is the Japanese name for Perilla, an aromatic plant cultivated in Asia since ancient times and in Japan since the 3rd century. The fragrance of Shiso essence is powerful and complex: green and powdery notes close to mimosa crossed by a spicy wave reminiscent of cinnamon in a halo of mentholated freshness.
The word Shiso preceded by the letter “O” because its sound evokes “eau” (water), because it is the first letter of the word “ode” and because its shape evokes a flake.
